 This book contains the story of Lale Sokolov and Gita. You will be amazed when you will read the name Gita but it is true the name of the girl in the book is actually Gita. The story is about how Lale and Gita survived from the jail of Auschwitz. The both were bought inside the jail because they were Jews. The life in jail was like hell. They have to suffer a lot there. Somehow Lale managed to get the job of tattooist. In this job, he has to tattoo the number of prisoner on their hand. In this job, Lale got the benefit of security because their extra privilege was given to the tattooer. Due to this Lale got more hope to survive. When Lale has entered the jail on the very first day he has decided that he will get out of this jail anyhow. Their he had generated a hope inside his heart which was the main reason behind his survival.

 Gita was there inside the jail a few months before Lale has arrived. They both met when Lale was given the job of tattooing. Lale and Gita was able to meet on only Sundays. This way the story goes on. The story is very interesting. It has many sharp turns which are really amazing. By sharp turns, I mean that at many places you will think that Lale is gone but he survived. This book is really amazing. The main reason that I liked this book so much is that it can teach you many things manly the hope part it is very important to understand that hope is very important in life. This book is actually like a life lesson. There are many things to learn from this book. I just suggest you to give this book a try it will help you grow in life.
