Book Review :
Love After Breakup -- Is It Possible ?
By Prakash Goenka

In Love After Breakup , upcoming writer Prakash Goenka paints a pithy saga of true love so mellow at the core , and yet so transcendental in it's expanse , that one is lost in it's spell for many days after reading it . It was almost as if the love portayal was pure, idyllic and Sufiyana at one moment , and yet so raw and real at another , that you felt you were having a ride through the entire gamut of emotions that love brings in it's wake. It would not be an exaggeration for me to say that this young writer reminded me of that great master of love , Mewlana Rumi ; such is the depth of love and tranquility of soul that shines through this simple yet intense narrative !!

The protagonist , Pranav , is a famous singer who fails to find companionship amidst all his fame .As he sets out on a long road journey with his pal and manager Ayan , he narrates his life story -- intertwined as it is with that of his two best buddies , Ayesha and Danish -- which began in Mumbai many years ago

He had come to Mumbai from Ajmer with nothing except a soulful voice, and started singing in a bar . Through a chance encounter , he befriends Ayesha , a young Punjabi girl who is looking for a stable job in Mumbai , and Danish a well to do handsome mechanical engineer who is addicted to smoking and drinking . The friends bond instantly and have the usual joyful experiences that youngsters have -- yet the deeper undercurrents of brooding sadness are beautifully sewn in by the author in every incident .There is some pain which each of the three friends is grappling with , putting on a facade of happiness only for the darkness of hurt to peep through time and again -- and each one is quick to spot these revelations of pain in their friends.

And from then onwards it's a labour of love , as the author takes us through the lives of these three best pals . Do they overcome their pain of love , what is their story of pain , where will they go on next in their journey of love ?

The writer is a master of the sweet word -- the narrative is full of little literary gems , full of philsophical wisdom --

"If humans thoughts start happening; then we would become gods"

And again ,

" Extinguished diyas and lovers in pain are visible from far away"

Do take out the time to read this love saga -- you won't regret your time . This tale has all the merits of becoming a classical legend of love !!
